It also depends on the seasons, during summer you need to water them more than in humid seasons. Have some space above the soil level in the container, so that water doesn’t overflow. An easy solution to check whether the plants need watering or not is to put your finger about one inch and see if it feels dry.

For planting, you can grow from both seeds and stem cuttings of basil. Follow the same process as in mint planting.



Tomatoes Kitchen Garden

Tomatoes name itself gives the imagination of red, juicy, little sweet, and tangy flavors all together. The only thing to take care of while growing from seeds is to give roots plenty of space to branch out. Rotate plants regularly and keep in a breeze to develop strong stem.



One can grow cucumber indoor, but if space permits go for an outdoor plantation as it can climb. For planting, sow 4-5 seeds about half deep in the soil and keep seeds few away from one another.

[3] PEAS :


Green peas need good drainage and their soil should not dry out. Bush peas climb 2 to 3 feet tall while climbing peas grow 6 to 8 feet in height. This plant needs full sun, so select spot in garden accordingly.

For planting, space 2 inches distance between two peas seeds and 1 inch inside the soil.
